Edsel Tham is an established learning and user experience (UX) consultant and an experienced web developer with more than 20 years’ experience. He specialises in creating W3C code of the highest quality to rigorous standards, primarily focusing on performance and re-usability.
He has consistently achieved top-quality index scores in QA since he joined the company five years ago, with excellent evaluations and feedbacks from delegates all year round. He has taught more than a dozen courses at QA, including User Experience Fundamental, UX Practitioner, ReactJS, Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, Responsive Web Site, HTML 5 Web Application, CSS3.0, XML, XSLT, NodeJS Application and Progressive Web App courses.
One of his biggest accomplishment for QA was working with Google to deliver 15 sessions of their two-day Progressive Web App course from September to December 2017, with nearly 500 delegates attending in total. He has helped QA to achieve their best global score in partnership with Google, among other training companies who also run the same course in other parts of the world.
Other than this, Edsel Tham has taught in global organisations across sectors such as finance, health, defence and government for clients including Halifax, Deutsche Bank, Google, British Airway and Scottish Government. He has also taught in many countries from Germany and Oman to Belgium and the US.
Edsel has also worked as a web developer over a period of 10 years with various companies including JP Boden & Co Ltd, Lowe Worldwide (Interpublic Group, IPG), and Sweet & Maxwell Group (Thomson Reuters). And he's worked as a technical IT trainer and database project manager with East London Advanced Technology Training for seven years.
