Learning Programme Director (Enterprise and Outsource Services)
Jennie Marshall is an award winning learning professional (Winner of the 2016 Learning Performance Institute, Learning Professional of the Year Bronze Award), who joined QA in 2010 as a Learning Consultant in the Leadership, Management and Business Skills team. She has gone on to progress through various positions to her current role of Learning Programme Director where she now designs, develops and manages the delivery of end to end learning programmes. She is an experienced and dedicated learning professional, with expertise including management, leadership and talent, and training and facilitation developed within a variety of environments. Jennie has a proven track record of delivering blended, multi modal learning programmes using Learning Management System platforms and in a more traditional face to face setting, is at home with small and large audiences. She is a proven developer of people and is accredited in the use of a variety of tools including Strength Deployment Inventory®, Emergenetics®, Hogan®, Prism® and Worldsview™ as well as being an NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Master Practitioner and Kirkpatrick Certified Professional (Bronze).
Learning Programme Director
Aidan has over 25 years' experience working in Leadership, Management and Personal Development, both nationally and internationally. He specialises and advises on profiling and psychometric tools such as Hogan, PRISM, SDI and Belbin. He is also a qualified coach and accredited Emotional Intelligence facilitator using Daniel Goleman’s ESCI framework. Aidan is a member of the EBBF, an organisation focused on implementing ethics in organisations.
Learning Programme Director (Scotland)
Having joined QA in January 2015, Kris drives forward individual learning and organisational development with passion, pace and integrity. With over 20 years of experience, holding executive organisational development positions and blue chip consultancy, Kris believes the key to shaping and growing organisations, has its heart in leadership development. Her global experience includes the US, Middle and Far East, Europe and South Africa, and her work has been underpinned by continuous professional development in a range of areas, including doctoral research into leadership career pathways.
Head of Product Development (LMBS)
Steve joined QA in 2014. With nearly 30 years’ experience across the L&D sphere, he is equally at home in design, delivery and consultancy. Steve has a proven track record in delivering successful leadership, management and employee learning solutions within major public sector and FTSE 100 organisations as a facilitator and designer across a wide range of subjects. Previous roles have included leading learning design functions for the corporate centre of a large government department and a similar role within the customer services division of a major UK health insurance brand, as well as running his own L&D consultancy working with a wide range of clients across many sectors. Steve is an EMCC EQA accredited Coach-Mentor, as well as being MBTI, SDI®, PRISM®, EQ-i 2.0 and Kirkpatrick Bronze accredited. As Head of LMBS Product Development, Steve is responsible for the development and maintenance of the LMBS public course portfolio.
Senior Learning Consultant
Shân joined QA in February 2004 as Senior Learning Consultant and is an experienced training and development professional with expertise including management, planning, training, organisation and facilitation. She is a proven developer of people from end-users, first line managers, graduate programmes and senior managers and has a reputation for delivering results on time to budget. She is an accredited SDI practitioner who had delivered numerous workshops, and courses with SDI as the key learning objective. She is a qualified coach with OCM and is a Kirkpatrick Certified Professional at Bronze level.
Senior Learning Consultant
Tony joined QA in January 2014. Previously Tony worked within the Public Sector for just over 20 years, specifically as a manager with the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) where he spent 15 years in various roles within the MPS training community. During this time he delivered training, workshops and provided coaching and assisted development in many varied leadership courses, as part of the MPS Leadership programme.
Tony is a qualified Performance Coach, as well as Strength Deployment Inventory, TAP and Kirkpatrick accredited. He has successfully developed, delivered and lead a number of bespoke and public training solutions on behalf of QA and continually provides a strong and enjoyable learning experience for delegates from varied sectors, receiving strong and positive feedback on many courses.
Senior Learning Consultant
Penny joined QA in 2014, bringing with her over 20 years of international experience. She has worked throughout Africa and parts of Europe including Ireland, for global organisations. She has held senior positions in a variety of retail organisations and spent several years working in consultancies such as Deloitte and Touche and the biggest Training consultancy in Ireland, Professional Development Ltd. She is an energetic and passionate Learning and Development Specialist with outstanding client liaison and relationship building skills; in-depth knowledge of the training cycle and soft skills delivery. She also has a keen interest in learner development, with feedback skills that encourage confidence in others and develop their ability.
Jo Cook joined QA in 2013 as a Learning Consultant. She is a Certified HR practitioner and training and development professional. Following 10 years in retail store management operations, Jo worked for a leading food retailer as in store HR - this combination provided strong HR, operational and leadership and management experience, and a deep understanding of the manager and leaders role with special expertise in absence and performance management. As a change agent, Jo led the implementation of customer service and organisational structure programs. Jo is a qualified life and performance coach and accredited SDI practitioner. Jo relishes working with, and supporting, first line and middle managers through a period of transition and discomfort.
Abi came to QA in 2014 with over twenty years’ experience in HR and learning and development.
Her varied career has supported development of expertise in people management, HR and Learning and Development. Abi is a highly experienced designer and facilitator of learning interventions that bring tangible benefits to people and organisations, often receiving excellent client feedback around the business impacts and creativity of what she works on.
Alongside delivery of QA’s core and bespoke portfolios of work, Abi is also a highly experienced ILM and CMI Tutor for QA.
With specialist interests in Happiness at work, Leadership, Coaching, Emotional/Social Intelligence and Psychology, Abi creates learning situations that are relevant, commercially focused and fun, that focus on moving organisations forward.
Abi is qualified with a BA (Hons.) in Management and also works with a range of industry specific tools including Strength Deployment Inventory, Prism Brain Mapping, MBTI and others. She is also an experienced NLP Practitioner, including Time Line Therapy and Hypnosis.
Head of Coaching Faculty
As Head of QA’s Coaching Faculty, Nova Ferguson provides leadership and strategic direction for QA’s Coaching and Mentoring proposition. She also has a coaching practice providing coaching and coaching supervision for a range of QA clients. In addition she authored QA’s ILM Level 5 in Coaching and Mentoring programme which she delivers, as well as delivering the ILM Level 3 Award in Coaching. Part of Nova’s role is to innovate and create coach mentoring interfaces and new products to bring them into the heart of leadership, management, project management and staff and business development. This maximises ROI for customers and development for individuals. Nova is currently working across a range of other business units within QA Learning, working with our experts in Agile, Project Management and ITIL to create cutting edge programmes combining technical and coach mentoring expertise. The QA Coaching Faculty also partners with other providers of coaching and mentoring.
Nova holds a B Ed, CIPD Intermediate Certificate in Organisational Coaching and Mentoring, an OCM Certificate in Organisational Coach Mentoring Supervision and has more than 30 years’ experience of management, consultancy, coaching, and training in the UK and Scandinavia. In addition, she holds a Kirkpatrick Bronze award, is a qualified PRISM facilitator, and conducts coaching de-briefings on this neuroscience based assessment tool.
She is also an NLP Master Practitioner and holds an NLP Business Practitioner Certificate and Licence. In addition Nova has managed training businesses and teams, provided coaching and training, and designed and run facilitated events and focus groups for a wide range of organisations and industries, as well as implementing change programmes within her own organisation.
Nova works with a broad range of clients, providing executive coaching and extensive coach mentoring training programmes for the public and private sectors. Her approach to everything she does is highly interactive and collaborative, and she shares tools for achieving positive influence with learners and customers alike.
