QA is recruiting for the sales and relationship management team to meet growing demand of customers

London, 2nd April 2014:  QA, the education and skills group which encompasses QA Learning, QA Apprenticeships, QA Higher Education and QA Executive Masters, today announced a significant and immediate sales and relationship management recruitment programme which will result in more than 50 new jobs across the UK.

Roles are being created at all levels within each of the four divisions of the business. New recruits will be given an extensive training and mentoring programme to help foster a professional career, as would be expected from a company that specialises in Learning and Development.

In December, CBI chief, John Cridland said, "For the first time since the start of the recession, 2014 will see most firms increasing the size of their workforce, boosting their graduate intake and the number of apprentices they take on."

QA is already seeing this translate into a desire amongst many of its customers to re-energise their workforces through investment in staff training and development.

QA Group Sales Director Stuart Martin said, "As the financial indicators start to move in the right direction, businesses are gearing up and are seeking to gain competitive advantage through the quality of their people. Previously delayed projects are coming back online and learning is now on the agenda in a big way. We plan to meet this demand by growing our best-in-class relationship management team.

More businesses are also creating new entrant positions, such as apprenticeships, as part of their forward-looking talent strategy.

Director of QA Apprentices, Ben Pike, echoes the business enthusiasm that is returning to the UK economy. "More and more companies see apprenticeships as a core part of their growth plans as they come out of the recession. We have seen an increase in placement numbers and receive great feedback that apprentices are succeeding in securing permanent employment, which is what QA Apprenticeships is all about."
