The event took place across three days at the ExCel in London to celebrate the newly appointed CEO Satya Nadella visiting the UK. The event brought together some of the world's most influential industry leaders to communicate and demonstrate how technological shifts are affecting the way we live, work (with an emphasis on business and education) and play.

QA's Microsoft Business Development Director, Steve Brennan, delivered several seminar sessions during the event, focussing on the well-publicised UK IT skills shortage and the ways QA can help businesses met this challenge. Check out this short clip of his presentation, "Solving your IT Talent Needs."

QA launched new IT programme for post-graduates

In support of Steve's seminar sessions QA launched the new QA Gateway Programme, which received great feedback. The QA Gateway Programme sources and trains the most talented STEM graduates, equipping them with the hands-on IT skills that are desperately needed in today's employment market. After attending high-quality training, the individuals become fully qualified IT contractors who are offered employment in organisations to help fulfil the IT skills gap.
