This unique QA learning path will equip you with the skills and experience necessary to perform the role of a Product Owner in a digital services environment. You will gain an in-depth insight into the key principles and tenets of the Scrum Framework. Via practical application you will gain a commanding understanding of the role and responsibilities of the Product Owner in Scrum-based production environments. You will gain an in-depth understanding of, and the ability to apply, the underpinning philosophy and principles of Agile Digital Services as laid down by the UK Cabinet Office
You will begin with an introduction to the history, principles and manifesto of Agile and in particular, Scrum. You will gain an appreciation of the main rules and artefacts of scrum, how to produce work via sprints, how to manage a product backlog and how to define the Product Vision. You will also learn how Scrum can be blended with other practices such as Kanban.
In the second course in this learning path you will explore in-depth the role of the Product Owner and the competencies needed to be a leader in an agile environment. You will examine Product Backlog Management, how it informs Sprint planning and how to maintain quality and maximise value. You will address the importance of facilitating stakeholder communication and what 'good' looks like.
The final course in this three course learning path will address, in-depth, the best practices of the AgileDS methodology as laid down by the UK Cabinet Office.
You will understand and apply the underpinning philosophy and principles of Agile Digital Services in a project situation. Understand and appropriately configure the lifecycle of an Agile Digital Services project to a given scenario. Produce and evaluate the content of Agile Digital Services products produced during an agile project in a given scenario. Understand the Agile Digital Services techniques and their benefits and limitations. Understand the roles and responsibilities within an Agile Digital Services project. Understand the mechanisms for planning, control and governance of an Agile Digital Services Project. Understand how to test, estimate and measure progress in an Agile and Digital Services project. And finally describe the Agile Digital Services approach to managing requirements.
You will receive the ICAgile Fundamentals certification on successful completion of the course. You will sit your AgileDS foundation and Practitioner exams during the five day course.
There are no specific pre-requisites for this learning path. However, it is expected that you will have a role in Project delivery for digital based projects.
