Overview
The Red Hat Certified Engineer course is designed for Unix- and Linux-experienced users, networking specialists, and system administrators. This 5-day course provides intensive hands-on training on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, and includes the RHCE Certification Lab Exam on day 5. Those who are interested in taking the rapid track course, but who would prefer to defer taking the exam until the later date, or who are not interested in certification may wish to consider RH301.
Please note that you will not be permitted to sit any exam without photographic ID (e.g. passport or driving license).

Prerequisites
RH033, RH133, RH253 or equivalent experience with UNIX; LAN/WAN fundamentals Internetworking with TCP/IP, knowledge or experience setting up NFS, HTTP, DNS, FTP, NIS, DHCP, and other networking services, and security.
The prerequisites are important! Participants arriving without a large portion of these prerequisites will make less than optimal progress in the training and will be unlikely to pass the certification exam. Please do not sign up for RH300 unless you are experienced with systems administration or are a power user in UNIX / Linux environments.

QA have been training and consulting with Novell ZCM 10 ( desktop management ) since the early days of the product back in 2007. So you know coming that by on training with us you are going to get the latest and most accurate advice and knowledge. A new feature of the 10.3 agent is that it allows support staff to display the evaluated closest server rules from the view point of the agent. This is great in trouble shoot as it is an easy mechanism to test the rules that you have created.
Creating Dynamic RAID Arrays with BTRFS

You may have used Logical Volumes on Linux before with either LVM or EVMS and, of course, software raid. Now though we have a file-system that supports volumes that can dynamically increase and support RAID : BTRFS. With the complete implementation in the file-system the deployment and management is simplified and performance is increased. Although still EXPERIMENTAL it is worth looking at BTRFS as it has become to ship in many of the leading Linux Distributions.
