  • Microsoft course 2400: Implementing and Managing Microsoft® Exchange Server 2007
  • Microsoft course 2011: Troubleshooting Microsoft® Exchange Server 2007
  • Microsoft Seminar: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Disaster Recovery
  • Planning Backup and Recovery Solutions

 

Course Outline

Learn how to optimise Microsoft® Exchange Server 2007 in a NetApp® storage environment. Through lecture and hands on labs you will explore the entire system integration process of architecture planning, data migration, backup and restore, disaster recovery, clustering, and troubleshooting. By the end of this course, you will be able to leverage the power of NetApp technology with Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.

Delegates will be able to:

  • Describe the benefits of running Exchange 2007 on a NetApp storage system
  • Describe key factors for sizing Exchange solutions on NetApp storage systems
  • Perform Exchange 2007 storage planning, implementation, and administration
  • Describe the Exchange backup and restore process
  • Perform an installation of a clustered Exchange Server on a NetApp storage system
  • Install and configure SnapDrive® for Windows®
  • Back up and verify an Exchange data store using SnapManager® for Microsoft Exchange
  • Restore data using SnapManager for Microsoft Exchange
