Overview

This 5-day training course allows you to focus on earning your MCTS .NET Framework 4, Web Applications certification through our intensive ACCELERATED track. Demonstrate your skill in working with Visual Studio 2010 to create web-based applications that run on the ASP.NET platform and are hosted on Internet Information Server.

Prerequisites

Before attending this course, delegates must have:

  • At least 12 months of professional Web development experience using Visual Studio 2010
  • An understanding of the problem-solving techniques that apply to software development
  • A basic understanding of scripting techniques and some hands-on experience writing scripts
  • A general understanding of the purpose, function and features of the .NET Framework
  • Experience in object oriented design and development
  • Experience in N-Tier application design and development

  • Implement advanced AJAX in a Web application
  • Deploy a Web application
  • Develop a Web application by using Silverlight
