Overview

 

This course is designed for technical support engineers providing service level support, system engineers performing demonstrations and security administrators deploying VSX on Crossbeam products.

 

 

This one-day course covers the Crossbeam implementation of VSX. It covers the basic steps involved in setting up a VSX on a Crossbeam X Series chassis. 

Prerequisites

 

  • Delegates should have a good working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, routing, and security technologies, a basic knowledge of the World Wide Web, Web browsers, Web servers, Instant Messaging, and the HTTP protocol and a basic knowledge of Authentication protocols (LDAP, NTLM, Radius).
  • Delegates should also have a good working knowledge of Check Point NGX and Smart Dashboard, probably gained over two years of experience.
  • Delegates should have an awareness of Provider-1 functionality.
