Appropriate security training is an essential component in implementing controls within an organisation. Alongside specific individuals needing training on details of security design and implementation, there is also a significant requirement for general awareness of security, spanning all levels of personnel within an organisation. A low awareness can lead to poor practices, reducing security and increasing the likelihood of breaches that have significant consequences.
This ½ day security seminar is aimed at both private and public sectors and will examine best practice around the key security issues the business professional / end user will encounter. The course can be customised for a specific organisation’s requirements and to reflect their precise security policies and procedures.
The seminar focus is on best practice in the workplace with a particular emphasis on the importance of being responsible with sensitive information.
Target Audience
This course is intended for business professionals / end users within either public or private sector organisations, who use computers and company information as part of their normal work duties.
Before attending this course, delegates should be existing computer users (Microsoft Windows or equivalent) with experience of using the internet and an e-mail application (such as Microsoft Outlook).
