Overview

PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is recognized as the best practice project management method and is being adopted by organizations in all sectors in the UK and internationally. PRINCE2 is a generic structured, controlled, repeatable and robust project management method that can be used to manage any size and complexity of project.

This half-day event provides participants with a broad understanding of the internationally accepted PRINCE2 project management methodology.

Delivered by fully accredited trainers and industry leading experts with extensive experience of using PRINCE2, the seminar is engaging and participative to allow attendees.

Audience

PRINCE2 is aimed at individuals and/or businesses that wish to understand how to run projects in a logical and organized way - using an internationally accepted project management method.

  • Focus on Products / Manage-by-Stages / Manage-by-Exception
  • Learn from Experience / Tailor to Suit the Project Environment

2. Processes

  • Starting up a Project / Initiating a Project / Directing a Project
  • Controlling a Stage / Managing Product Delivery
  • Managing a Stage Boundary / Closing a Project

3. Themes

  • Business Case / Organization
  • Quality (including the PRINCE2 Quality Review Technique)
  • Risk / Change / Progress
  • Plans (including the PRINCE2 Product-Based Planning Technique)

4. Tailoring PRINCE2 to the project environment

Appreciate the governance and decision making requirements for PRINCE2 Roles and responsibilities of the Project Board:

  • Project Executive
  • Senior User
  • Senior Supplier

Appreciate how to embed and tailor PRINCE2 back in the workplace.
