The APM’s APMP is a knowledge based foundation level qualification, enabling participation in all kinds of projects from individual assignments through to large capital projects. Based on the APM Body of Knowledge (APM BoK), the APMP course is an intensive introduction to project management.

During the workshop there will be opportunities to review knowledge gaps and practice exam techniques through tackling typical exam questions under tutor guidance, prior to sitting the APMP exam on day 2 of the course.

Delegates will use the eLearning to ensure they are fully prepared for the 2 day workshop. 2 Years Project Management experience and/or APM Introductory Certificate is recommended along with a working knowledge of the APM Body of Knowledge.
The 3-hour written exam consists of questions designed to demonstrate the candidate’s knowledge of the varying aspects of project management as well as their understanding of key project management techniques. Delegates are required to answer 10 essay-style questions from a possible 16. Papers are marked by the APM and results are usually available 6-12 weeks after the exam.
