You will be responsible for providing copywriting and proofreading for collateral both on/offline, and proactively drive the presence of QA in the marketplace through PR and other activities. Key Accountabilities • Development of press releases, issue to appropriate media and management of reactive media opportunities • Writing compelling copy for a range of on- and off-line formats; translating sometimes complex or technical content into clear, concise, customer-facing materials: I. Creating website content, including ‘product’ content, corporate messages and sales & marketing propositions II. Collateral content – working with product owners to develop effective copy for product brochures III. Development of benefits-led case studies • Support and management of customer-facing communications projects • Support for copy of email campaigns, including proofreading • Work with marketing team to ensure strong range of communications activities relevant to product marketing activities and to create a joined-up approach • Work with senior colleagues to gather information and ensure sign off of communications material • Build and maintain good working relationships with all external & internal colleagues. Experience & Qualifications Required  Strong communications background including experience of proactive and reactive media relations  Experience of working in a marketing team environment, either in-house or with an agency  Proven ability to work to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy  Experience working in a fast-moving environment with competing deadlines and priorities  Excellent knowledge of marketing communications strategy, processes and tactics  Awareness of online marketing and web 2.0  Excellent communication skills  Confidence and enthusiasm  Trustworthy and honest  Understanding of either learning & development/training or IT industry  The ability to operate well and contribute to a strong team environment  Good attention to detail  Self motivated  Ability to identify new communications opportunities and deliver against them  To measure risk and mitigate it  Structured and clear communication to colleagues  Highly driven  Strong learning knowledge and understanding of the market place You will enjoy working within a fast paced environment, possess excellent leadership qualities, have entrepreneurial spirit, a determined and confident character with of course, a professional and productive approach.
