QA has had a preferred supplier agreement with this leading investment bank for over 10 years.
As part of its recruitment the bank has several hundred new graduate trainees joining each year. The graduates are recruited for roles in operations, finance and business management or technology, either within investment banking or treasury & security services or asset management.
Until 2007, the bank worked with several learning suppliers to deliver a three week induction programme for all graduates. This provided some challenges - with the programme at risk of fragmentation and some duplication of content by different providers. Co-ordination of the entire programme could also be extremely time-consuming.
To better address the needs of the business, the client drew upon its longstanding partnership with to create a new QA solution.

The new programme was initially piloted for 120 graduates in September 2008 and has since been delivered since by QA to hundreds more graduates.

The two-week programme concluded with a presentation to senior management, successfully demonstrating what the graduates had learnt during the course. The graduates also received recognition for completing the programme, with an internal award presentation from their managers.
