New for security (Linux) offering

26 January 2012

If you build it – they will come

16 September 2011

IT administrators and decision makers have a lot to answer for – all too often they make snappy, easy, popular decisions, instead of applying a skilful mix of open-mindedness, determination and knowledge to achieve best outcomes. 14 July 2010

One of the most popular questions in a UNIX class is: why doesn’t UNIX store file creation time? Well, in ext4 it does . The ext4 file system has now been available for a while, but so far Ubuntu is the only distribution installing it by default.
