A Twitter account is created using an individual email address, and therefore each account is effectively owned by one spokesperson – whether it represents a company, country, product or band. Most companies tweet using the royal “we” rather than highlight individuals, but the rotation curation concept has invoked a trend of rotating the spokesperson for the account.
